Our Team
Mark Holaway
Mark, the founder of Holaway Custom Builds, serves as the Director of Operations, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s seamless operation. Mark’s warm and knowledgeable approach sets the tone for those looking to work with Holaway Custom Builds.
From its humble beginnings as a simple handyman service, Mark’s vision has transformed Holaway Custom Builds into a flourishing full-scale renovation company, albeit somewhat unintentionally. Mark’s journey with Holaway Custom Builds is a testament to his aspirations. As the company expanded, so did his commitment to building a business grounded in conscientiousness. He envisioned creating an environment where employees are respected and treated fairly, standing in contrast to the prevalent exploitation often found in the industry. Mark’s dedication extends to his clients, where his goal has always been to establish an honest company that prioritizes their best interests. Recognizing the importance of integrity and ethical practices, he strives to ensure that Holaway Custom Builds remains a trusted name in the industry.
Beyond the world of construction, Mark finds solace in nature. Whether hiking, exploring the Fayetteville farmers market, or tending to his garden, he embraces the outdoors as a source of inspiration and rejuvenation amid his demanding schedule.
John David Holaway
Meet John David, or JD, Holaway Custom Build’s dedicated Logistics Manager and General Manager of our sister company, Holaway Handyman. He is also the proud son of Mark and joined the company shortly after its inception. While he is primarily focused on overseeing the development and operations at Holaway Handyman, JD also plays a crucial role in Holaway Custom Builds’ day-to-day operations. His responsibilities include procuring materials for projects and coordinating logistics with our project manager.
Despite having only a few years of construction experience, JD has proven to be a natural fit for the industry. He initially immersed himself in boots-on-the-ground work, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Over time, he discovered his true calling in management, where his passion for orchestrating successful projects truly shines.
Outside the construction realm, JD finds comfort at home with his three pets, considering it one of the best ways to relax after a demanding week. A coffee enthusiast, you might spot him at Onyx Coffee Lab or Arsaga’s, immersed in a good book and enjoying a moment of leisure amid his dynamic schedule.
Elias Featherly
Meet Elias, Holaway Custom Builds’ Project Manager. Beyond his impressive physical contributions in the field, Elias is a skilled carpenter and designer. His ability to turn creative concepts into tangible, real-world results is nothing short of remarkable. While he may find more enjoyment in hands-on carpentry and design, his dedication to exceeding standards as a project manager is evident.
Elias is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects, from initial customer engagement to final completion. His keen attention to detail is instrumental in ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently. The demanding nature of his work keeps him on his toes, but Elias values the positive and relaxed work environment cultivated by his colleagues. For him, it strikes the perfect balance between challenge and camaraderie.
Outside of work, Elias focuses on another important project—developing his home. This personal endeavor reflects his commitment to creating a comfortable and welcoming space for his loved ones.
Tony Morey
Tony is one of Holaway Custom Builds’ Field Technicians. His warm demeanor and bright smile are among the first things you’ll notice when you meet him. As a Field Technician, Tony handles a variety of tasks, with general construction, remodeling labor, and handyman services as his top priorities.
Known for his attention to detail, Tony excels in fine finish work, particularly in painting and drywall finishes. His commitment to excellence shines through in every project, and this dedication extends beyond his professional life. Tony finds joy in seeing happy faces, whether they belong to satisfied clients or his family at home.Motivated by a passion for delivering top-quality work and outstanding customer service, Tony takes pride in contributing to Holaway Custom Builds’ success. This unwavering dedication drives his focus on both craftsmanship and client satisfaction.
Outside of work, Tony cherishes time with his two daughters. Being a devoted father is one of his greatest sources of pride and inspiration. When he’s not spending time with his family, you might find him online gaming with friends—a favorite way for Tony to unwind and connect.
Jeremy Moore
Jeremy is one of Holaway Custom Builds’ Field Technicians and is widely regarded as the versatile backbone of the team. His role is pivotal within the company, and he has earned a reputation for being exceptionally capable across a broad spectrum of tasks.
While Jeremy excels in carpentry and flooring, his skills extend to nearly every category of work. Some might say “jack of all trades, but master of none,” but those people clearly haven’t met Jeremy. A true “fix-it” man, his ingenuity and problem-solving skills are indispensable to our team, and in many ways, we’d be lost without him.
Outside of work, Jeremy finds joy in spending time with his granddaughter and indulging in small projects of his own. His passion for hands-on work extends beyond his professional role, reflecting his dedication to craftsmanship and creativity in all areas of his life.
Bobby Acevedo
Bobby Acevedo is one of Holaway Custom Builds’ Field Technicians. He is responsible for a variety of tasks, with general construction, remodeling labor, and handyman services being his primary focus. Although Bobby is one of the newer members of the team, he brings a background in architectural design and, more importantly, demonstrates some of the best work ethic Holaway Custom Builds has ever seen.
While Bobby is still developing his applied construction knowledge, he is a fast learner with serious aspirations to climb the corporate ladder. He is dedicated to building a strong foundation in construction so that he can excel in a managerial role in the future.
When Bobby isn’t working with Holaway Custom Builds, he is often busy with one of his other jobs. He is deeply committed to providing for his family and pets, working tirelessly to achieve part of the American Dream—buying a home to create a space he can call his own.
Bobby’s passion for the company, his dedication to his family, and his drive to grow professionally are qualities we greatly admire at Holaway Custom Builds. We are excited to support him on his journey toward homeownership and his future success in a managerial role with us.
