Our Process

Stage 1

Planning

  • Assess client needs and preferences.

  • Determine project scope and goals.

  • Evaluate existing site conditions and constraints.

  • Research local building codes and regulations.

  • Develop a preliminary budget and timeline.

Stage 2

Design

  • Create conceptual design options.

  • Develop architectural drawings and floor plans.

  • Select materials, finishes, and fixtures.

  • Refine project budget and schedule.

  • Obtain client approval for the final design.

Stage 3

Development

  • Procure materials and equipment necessary for the project.

  • Prepare for construction, including demolition, excavation, and site grading.

  • Prepare and submit permit applications.

  • Review and negotiate contracts

Stage 4

Construction

  • Begin construction, following the project plan and construction documents.

  • Monitor construction progress and adjust as necessary.

  • Ensure project stays on budget.

  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders throughout.

STAGE 1:

RESEARCH & DISCOVERY

(4-5 Weeks)

During the research and discovery stage, which typically lasts 4 to 5 weeks, clients collaborate with the design team to gather information and thoroughly understand the project requirements. This process involves identifying client needs, preferences, and design inspirations; conducting site analysis and assessment of existing conditions; developing preliminary budget estimations and timelines; reviewing building codes, zoning, and other regulations; and finally establishing project goals and scope.

STAGE 2:

DESIGN CONCEPTUALIZATION

(8-12 Weeks)

The design conceptualization stage, which spans 8 to 12 weeks, focuses on creating and refining design concepts. It involves developing multiple design options and floor plans, creating 3D renderings and visualizations, selecting materials, finishes, and fixtures based on client preferences and budget constraints, collaborating with consultants, engineers, and other professionals, and refining project budgets and schedules based on design decisions.

STAGE 3:

DESIGN REFINEMENT

(3-5 Weeks)

During the 3 to 5 week design refinement stage, the team finalizes and prepares for construction. During this stage of the process, essential steps include refining and approving architectural drawings and details. After obtaining customer approval for the finalized design, submitting documents to pertinent government bodies, liaising with contractors for bids and discussion negotiations, procuring materials as well as arranging their delivery – these are just a few of the many steps required.

STAGE 4:

CONSTRUCTION

(10-28 Weeks)

The construction stage, which can last between 10 to 28 weeks, involves the actual execution of the design, transforming concepts into reality. This stage encompasses on-site construction supervision and coordination, ensuring quality control and adherence to design specifications, managing project budget and schedule, communicating project updates and progress to clients, and addressing any issues or changes during construction.
