Mark Holaway
Mark, the heart and soul of HCB, serves as both the owner and sales manager, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s seamless operation. As the first point of contact for clients, Mark’s warm and knowledgeable approach sets the tone for those looking to work with HCB.
From its humble beginnings as a simple handyman service, Mark’s vision transformed HCB into a flourishing full-scale renovation company, albeit somewhat unintentionally. Mark’s journey with Holaway Custom Builds is a testament to his aspirations. As the company expanded, so did his commitment to building a business grounded in conscientiousness. He aimed to create an environment where employees are treated with respect and fairness, countering the industry’s prevalent exploitation. Mark’s dedication extended to his clients, aspiring to establish an honest company prioritizing their best interests. He understood the importance of a construction company built on a foundation of integrity and ethical practices.
Beyond the world of construction, Mark finds solace in nature. Whether hiking, exploring the Fayetteville farmers market, or tending to his garden, he embraces the outdoors as a source of inspiration and rejuvenation amid his busy schedule.
John David Holaway
Meet John David, or JD, HCB’s dedicated project manager and proud son of Mark. JD holds a crucial role in our operations, overseeing the scheduling of employees, coordinating with subcontractors, managing project progression, and efficiently handling materials. Clients often find themselves engaging with JD when discussing their projects, benefitting from his commitment to smooth project execution.
Despite having only a few years of construction experience, JD has proven to be a natural fit for the industry. He initially immersed himself in boots-on-the-ground work, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Now, management is his true calling, and his passion for orchestrating successful projects shines through.
Outside the construction realm, JD finds relaxation at home in the company of his three pets. A coffee enthusiast, you might spot him at Onyx Coffee, immersed in a good book and enjoying a moment of leisure amid his busy schedule.
Elias Featherly
Meet Elias, the technical specialist at the core of our HCB team. Beyond his impressive physical contributions in the field, Elias is a skilled carpenter and designer. His knack for turning creative concepts into solid, real-world results is truly remarkable. Whether constructing decks or crafting custom cabinetry, Elias’s keen attention to detail shines through.
The demanding nature of his work keeps him on his toes, but Elias values the relaxed work environment fostered by his colleagues. It’s the perfect balance of challenge and camaraderie.
Outside of work, Elias focuses on another important project—developing his home. This personal endeavor reflects his commitment to creating a comfortable space for his loved ones.
Tony Morey
Tony serves as the foreman at HCB, and his warm demeanor and bright smile are the first things you’ll notice when you meet him. As a working supervisor, Tony takes charge of ensuring that day-to-day operations run seamlessly. With extensive experience as a supervisor and a laborer in the construction industry, Tony brings a unique perspective to his role.
Known for his attention to detail, Tony scrutinizes every aspect of the job, ensuring that the work is executed flawlessly. This commitment to excellence is reflected in both his professional and personal life. Tony finds joy in seeing happy faces, whether they belong to satisfied HCB clients or his own family at home.
Motivated by a passion for delivering top-notch work and customer service, Tony takes pride in contributing to HCB’s success and bringing financial security to his family. His dedication is the driving force behind his commitment to both quality workmanship and client satisfaction.
Jeremy Moore
Jeremy is the versatile backbone of HCB, holding the title of general laborer but embodying anything but generality. His role is pivotal within our company, and he has a reputation for being exceptionally capable across a broad spectrum of tasks. While Jeremy excels in carpentry and flooring, his skills extend to almost every category of work. A true “fix it” man, Jeremy’s ingenuity is indispensable, and in many ways, we would be lost without his problem-solving skills.
Outside of work, Jeremy finds joy in spending time with his granddaughter and indulging in small projects of his own. His passion for hands-on work is not confined to the professional realm; it extends to his personal pursuits, showcasing his commitment to craftsmanship and creativity.
